Brave Becoming A New You
Sometimes the loss is clear. Sometimes what keeps you tied to it is the ongoing argument with yourself about what it means.
Grief is not limited to death. You may be grieving a relationship, an estrangement, a version of your life you
expected to have, or a part of yourself that changed along the way. Sometimes the replay creates the hope that if
you can finally understand it correctly, you can settle what cannot be changed.
We slow down the places your mind repeatedly goes, not to keep you stuck there, but to understand what you are still trying to settle, repair, explain, or make different.
Grief can turn into self-judgment about what you should have known, what you could have done, or what the loss now says about you. We look at where these thoughts come from and how they keep you carrying more than you have to.
Moving forward does not require you to decide the loss was okay or to stop caring. The work is developing enough room inside yourself to carry what mattered without letting the loss keep deciding who you have to be now.
